is this disgraceful?

you can read the prologue of my post in someone else's words here.

in continuation to my comment there; i heard that some performances back or episodes back, saroj khan had humiliated bakhtiyar in a very crude fashion. although i believe that a person could never act above his or her person level, but there should be some grace at the level khan is at.

but it was a sad win for the girls, nonetheless. they didn't deserve it. and i feel they still got the respect from the guys. i draw this particular conclusion from the fact that delnaaz stopped her brother from sharply retaliating to the unsavory criticism from the judges, when boys had concluded their ultimate act, by silent gestures. she (and the girls) understood every bit of his (their) reaction. and also, it seemed, that each of the girl understood that it was not a disgraceful act of immature knee-jerk reaction but a humble although passionate solicitation against the usage of uncouth words from a senior judge [which saroj khan, malaika and pandey were very well aware of, thus their acrid words].

why is it confusing me?

the song is getting popular now. although i heard it, on someone's insistence a little while back, and liked it...

but there is something about it that confuses me and that i can't understand

the song is o meri jaan from the movie metro. it is clearly a song that celebrates new love in your life then why is there the word "firse" in a line is the last stanza?

kal uska raha, ab hai tera...
...
...
teri bahon ki firse dunde ye panah

has this confused you too?

the bengali connection

i have been wondering living in a city where i have traditionally been surrounded by punjabis with them being my best friends, my hotties, my mentors, my social everythings, suddenly it seems they are no more and have instead been replaced by, well, bengalis - thus the title of the post. and to support my claim the list here goes:-

the artist who nearly seduced me - bengali
the one who holds my heart, currently - bengali
the maid who my mom hates but is indispensable to her - bengali
the one who is a writer - bengali
the one who i have hired and who ditches me and i still don't mind - bengali
the one who is an asshole and an idiot and screws my workplace life - bengali
the one who surprisingly insists that i am one of his most important mentors - bengali
the non-favorite celebrity who i would want to lay - bengali

and i am sure there would at least be a couple more whom i am not able to recall now. in case you think you can help me recall who they are without charging for it, please enlighten.
