i don't understand females who react in some very peculiar ways. one example which is common to a lot of [small town] females is, you are walking down an aisle in the opposite directions and suddenly the female shies herself behind any available natural obstruction just before the moment you are to pass them. to me it is almost offensive. and this happens even in places like your office where the comfort level is at its best. i wonder why?

!! That's weird. Iv can understand females doing this if they sense a threat physically or for that matter sexually.. but never seen that happening in office.
Or maybe it's neither.. maybe its just the submissive nature of the (so called small town) women that makes them do that. Mm?
I guess the best way to tackle such a situation is to deliberately give them way before one passes by them... :) Let them realise the offense one takes when they do that to them.. or at least that they dont mean any harm.. Heh.

Ashen
I've never seen anybody doing that and WTF do you mean by "small town females"??
Maybe a different idea of personal space?
Maybe one is schooled to avoid being groped?
I think there is conditioning to avoid potential conflict. I remember finding the big city gals quite audacious.
tujhse dar jaati hain bhai :)
ke kahin uncontrollably attract na ho jayen teri taraf !!!
tu tension na le !!!
Do you look personal-space-invading?
ashenglow - you mean the moment a girl stops behind an obstruction, you stop and ask her to pass? cunning one indeed ;) :D
samy - LOL, believe me it happens, also please refer to austere's comment below
austere - an account or two of the audacity would be fun :D
om - bhai :D
bubbly - i guess they could answer that better...
oh well, i dont think it is just the so-called small town girls, a lot of women do it, maybe not as obviously as hiding behind something but they do it nevertheless.
women's personal space tends to get violated quite a bit in public spaces, so i feel the reaction is preventive in nature. and what harm would it do to respect someone else's private space ?
if someone does that to me, ill just laff loudly near their hiding place n move on, or if i have the time, ill go to their hiding place n laff in front of them. it feels insulting u noe
pooja - i find a contradiction in your statement. you can't be cocooned when in public space. although i understand the preventive stance and i abhor people who have ill intentions against females, i don't like the fact that a female should treat "everyone" as a potential exploiter.
spicy - :D :D
